In March we posted on the criticality of utilities in the pharmaceutical sector. While mostly unseen and facilitators of processes, utilities offer high opportunities for companies to incorporate more sustainable solutions into their operations. Solutions that are practical, cost effective and meet the process requirements while also helping to reduce energy costs or environmental impacts can be implemented.
Our aim is to promote more sustainable practical solutions that meet your business case (budgets, timeframes, functional requirements). Incremental improvements can be made without having to make fundamental changes.
Examples of this include replacing older HVAC units, fans, etc with newer, more energy efficient equipment (following a detailed engineering assessment) or utilising the efficiency of heat pumps or changing from gas to electricity.
