Major soft drinks manufacturer awards Malone Group significant turnkey project.

Malone Group has been awarded a significant turnkey project by a major soft drinks manufacturer to ensure the ongoing manufacturing and future proofing of one of their processing facilities. The heart of the project involves the replacement of a legacy ACCOS control system but also includes process enhancements and safety upgrades. Malone Group was chosen due to our extensive experience of ACCOS and other legacy control system replacements which enable us to reverse engineer the code, in this case, ACCOS Paracode, producing a current Functional Specification and then compile the new Siemens PLC code. The code will then be tested off-site using our simulation software to ensure minimal production downtime during commissioning. A full 3D laser scan will be done by our in-house design team, capturing the entire existing process plant. From this, the design will be developed to install new cable containment routes, pipework and process equipment upgrades around the existing plant.
