To mark International Women in Engineering Day 2020, we would like to introduce Eleanor Stevens. In her role as Process Engineering Manager she is responsible for process designs in the food, beverage, brewing, diary and pharmaceutical sectors. As well as holding a Masters Degree in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering she is an Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) HAZOP facilitator. She represents us on the Midlands Management Committee of BFBI and Birmingham Future Faces Chamber of Commerce. Asked about her experiences in engineering, Eleanor remarked “As women experience the world differently to men, we bring a different perspective to the design process. It’s a rewarding career which I would encourage young women to consider”.
