We deliver horizontal and vertical integration projects for manufacturing industries. We help companies to strategise their journey towards a smart factory, however, we have noticed that some are exposed to potential cyber threats due to the age and condition of their current industrial control systems (ICS) devices.
Cyber security threats extend to more than just IT systems, applications and e-mail. ICS also have a risk of exposure to cyber threats by exploiting vulnerabilities on unpatched or out of date ICS devices.
With an increasing trend in cyber related attacks forecasted worldwide in 2023, now more than ever it is essential that manufacturing facilities have a basic level of cybersecurity controls in place to mitigate the risk of cyber threats.
The UK National Cyber Security centre has published recommended guidelines and best practices covering key cyber security basics for all sizes of business: https://lnkd.in/dEzwJhE
