Last week, Katie Tobin attended the Women in Stem Summit in Croke Park. The demand for STEM skills in Ireland is expected to grow by 8% by 2025. This Summit showcased the people who are creating diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces in Ireland which allow every employee to succeed regardless of their background. Guest speakers discussed various topics including technological advances in lifestyle business, initiatives at pre-school, primary, second & third level institutions and the significant role AI is playing in both our working and personal lives. This event was key for all those championing diversity, equity and inclusion throughout their teams, organisations, and industries. Everyone has a part to play in addressing the STEM skills shortage in Ireland to meet the needs of industry.
