During Engineers Ireland’s STEPS Engineers Week 2023, we highlight to young minds – those who are still in the formative parts of their education, from 5 to 16 years old, the role of the engineer in society.
We demonstrate by way of presentations and experiments what we do, the problems we solve and most importantly, we encourage their curiosity. This is our chance to ensure that as many young minds as possible get to see what engineers do so that, in the future, we can have a good supply of bright and curious engineers entering the marketplace.
We encourage all engineering firms to get involved in this long game.
