Following the successful implementation of real time condition monitoring systems at two of this customers plant, Malone Group was challenged to identify a suitable solution that enables a low cost solution to deliver applicable sensing technology requirements to facilitate an appropriate level of monitoring to enable improved reliability and increased uptime.

Project Benefits
Malone Group was in
the early stages of investigations into wireless sensors, which
had previously been discounted due mainly to limited battery life.
It was decided to carry out a 20 sensor trial using a new type of
sensor, which would integrate into the new condition monitoring
system installed on the
corrugator.
