We are working closely with a major packaging material company to deliver an all-round training package for apprentices and operators to teach them about the integrated parts of machinery maintenance. The programme starts around an introduction to maintenance and why we do it before moving onto various techniques such as vibration analysis, tribology (oil analysis) and condition-based vs predictive-based maintenance. The modules continue through to include the use of CMMS systems and concludes around benchmarking yourself against industry standards. The package is tailored to the customer’s needs, utilising skills and expertise within Malone Group and dipping into specialist areas supported by external bodies. In this instance the customer selected a 10 module delivery and the whole programme will help candidates to attain accreditation through Engineers Ireland for a professional engineering title.
