Malone Group is passionate about promoting engineering as a profession and is supporting Engineers Ireland STEPS Week to encourage and inspire the next generation of engineers.
This week Kirsten Foy, Garrick Brennan, Jim Crosbie, Martin Byrne and Tim Noone have been out and about in their local primary schools explaining the considerable impact engineers of all disciplines have on the world around us.
It remains of great concern that the title ‘engineer’ is still not protected in law, leading to widespread misuse which is making it difficult to attract school leavers into this exciting and rewarding profession.
