This project addressed a requirement to monitor the speed, alignment and temperatures of a grain handling system following numerous breakdown issues. We carried out the electrical and software automation design and management of the electrical installation of watchdog monitoring units on the grain handling conveyors and elevators.

Project Benefits
Using the newly
installed watchdog monitoring units, we provided visibility of
conveyor belt speeds and mill bearing temperatures to assist them
in pre-emptive maintenance of the brewery equipment. The units
also provided additional safety to the grain handling system by
initiating a controlled shutdown in the event of a fault or high
temperature alarm.
