We were asked to undertake the necessary modifications for optimization of a brewhouse PLC/SCADA (milling/intake sequences) and Tank Farm PLC (pall membrane sequences). This was an example of a project where all disciplines such as process, electrical, and automation worked together to ensure the design modifications were evaluated for safety and in accordance with the site’s protocols for production. This project was run closely with the site team to ensure the updates integrated seamlessly with their current standard operational procedures.
