We recently commenced work on a commercial project involving integrated project management, mechanical and electrical design and the provision of PSDP in a commercial environment. The project involves the replacement of existing R22 systems with new energy efficient systems in several retail units. The projects are strategically bundled to gain an efficient tender process in the current competitive environment. From 1 January 2015, carrying out any maintenance/servicing on existing air conditioning units with the R22 type refrigerant is prohibited. The list of prohibited refrigerant gases will increase in 2020 and again in 2022. Malone Group will also complete feasibility studies of each unit providing detailed solutions in the optimisation/integration of alterative control systems and synergies with the existing Building Management System. This will allow the customer save energy and facilitate further cost savings by seeking energy credits from their electrical provider through the SEAI Energy Efficiency Obligations Scheme.
